Part Six: (For High Definition - Wide Screen Version - Read instructions in below "Notes." You can now watch our church services in HD-TV!) This is the sixth part of the December 14, 2008 church service - the Third Sunday of Advent - at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fredonia, N. Y. Advent is the waiting period before Christmas for Christians in preparation for celebrating the birth of Jesus, Our
Savior! Video recording & editing by Bill Parks, Stanwrite@aol.com -- www.ChurchTVsite.com.
Important notes about HD-TV on YouTube: 1) To watch the latest videos in High Definition on the Episcopal33 channel, click on the words beneath the screen "watch in HD." To overcome the problem of periodic pauses after the video starts playing (if your connection speed is slow), download the entire video before watching it. To accomplish this, let the red line play out toward the right under the screen while you engage in another activity - "e.g., get a cup of tea." Come back to the computer after the video has downloaded completely and then click the play button. This time there will be no interruptions. 2) If you also choose to click on the icon to display the video in full screen mode, then it's best to view in high definition and also view from a distance just like you would on a regular TV set. 3) Because of the large volume of digital data needed to upload and broadcast in HD-TV, it takes the computer a long time to upload a ten minute broadcast in HD-TV format. However, when the viewer downloads to watch the same HD-TV broadcast, it takes much less time because the video is compressed by a special HD-TV formatting program used by YouTube for viewers. To avoid pauses during your download process follow the instructions given above in "Note One." 4) YouTube videos on the Episcopal33 channel are available on mobile phones and on regular TV sets that have Internet connections.
